Controlling vehicle access to a site can help improve its security and can be easily achieved using a variety of methods. Controlling devices can be operated by an intercom od another reader technology for example a keypad or automatically by number plate recognition.
- Traffic Barriers are a really effective, convenient and popular method of controlling vehicles in to a site as they are quick in operation, low in cost when compared with other methods and have an overt presence.
- Gates both new gates and existing can be automated to provide controlled access. They can also prevent pedestrians entering without prior authorisation, but they are however generally much slower in operation, so are better suited for areas of low traffic volume.
- Rise and Fall Bollards have minimum impact on their surrounding and are discreet.
